Hello, does anyone have experience with a 15 cm (6 inch) aerated concrete exterior wall instead of 17 cm (7 inch)?

Apparently, there is a special insulation used together with the 15 cm block, which is also significantly more expensive. The insulation value is said to be the same.

This is done when more usable floor area (Q2) needs to be gained, but the house itself is not allowed to be enlarged.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

P.S. Please only reply if you have direct experience or reliable information.

Are you sure those are aerated concrete blocks? As far as I know, there is no 15cm (6 inches) aerated concrete block with enough compressive strength to be used as a load-bearing exterior wall. Please provide the exact block type here.
