Hello everyone,
We are planning to install a three-sided wood stove as an extension of a partition wall – essentially as a room divider – as part of our renovation. So far, we have received a quote of just under 14,000 euros (about $15,000) for a Hoxter UKA56 fireplace insert, including a negative pressure monitor, etc.
My question is: Is there a more affordable option? Is it worth getting multiple quotes? I know you should always do that, but it often takes a lot of time and effort. The real question is, how much can you actually save here?
Thanks for your input.

Oops, you want a masonry one. Where does it say that?
€14,000 feels too expensive to me. €10,000 would be my price limit – but not a masonry build, rather a drywall construction. That would mean just placing the fireplace insert on the floor, building drywall around it (preferably with shelves or lighting), and connecting it.
P.S. Does the offer include a chimney, or will an existing flue be used?
