Hello,
I want to equip the LEDs in my carport with a motion sensor.
Additionally, I want to install a regular switch so I can keep the lights on permanently.
On top of that, I want to link the lights to the remote control of my gate system so that the lights turn on when I arrive home in the evening. This would need to be somehow connected with the motion sensor so the lights do not turn on while it is still daylight.
How can I achieve this?
Thank you

I would probably use Hue:
Socket for the LEDs,
motion sensor,
and an app with a geofence routine.
Then you don’t have to press anything when you come home. From the LEDs to a socket? And the socket is equipped with Wi-Fi/radio? And where exactly in the circuit should the motion sensor be placed?
Currently, 9 LEDs are combined via terminal blocks and connected by a cable to the distribution box. I can still wire a switch and motion sensor in there myself, but the topic of gate control is beyond me.

That goes beyond my experience. I would probably look for Hue-compatible switching actuators, for example, a Zigbee actuator from LEd Trading. But you should do more research on that yourself.
Alternatively, there are also outdoor LEDs from Hue. Staying within one system usually works easiest and best. However, this comes at a higher price compared to DIY solutions…
