Hello, is it possible to buy a staircase directly from the manufacturer, without intermediaries? I am looking for the most affordable option for a half-landing oak staircase with lights built into the stringers. Do you have any tips on where to inquire? Location: Nuremberg area.
I also need the staircase for construction and the temporary construction stair. This probably goes against buying directly again...

The straight staircase was a kind of gift from our carpenter, who enjoyed working with us – originally, we wanted to keep the construction staircase in place for a while and decide later. Then this one came along, which turned out much nicer than expected. The railing was made by a steelworker; here, it’s difficult to assign exact costs to the staircase because we received a total price including the gallery railing, which the staircase railing continues into.
The "small" ash wood stairs for the kids were made by a joiner and each cost around 3000€ (about 3300 USD). They are steep and narrow and are only intended to reach the sleeping loft – they wouldn’t be suitable as a daily traffic area.
