We hardly ever use the regeneration function for reheating food because it’s too complicated and time-consuming with the wiping and drying steps, and the old microwave gets used more often than expected for that purpose.

It’s the same with my daughter—too much effort to warm up something for the kids. But it’s true that cooking with steam usually tastes better. I don’t like steamed fish, and mashed potatoes don’t taste good to me when made from steaming potatoes. But vegetables and rice are great.

I use a steam cooker quite often, for example, there’s a very nice one from Braun. It’s very easy to use, delivers excellent results, and costs only a fraction of a built-in appliance. Combi steam ovens are interesting if you need to use two ovens at the same time, but that’s probably less common for most people.

No, I meant Dreame 😉 (Text too short...)

Interesting. I suspect the manufacturer did this to cause confusion xD

I have a Dyson V8, but I still prefer my good old Miele vacuum cleaner with a bag and – this is very important – an Elras multi-surface nozzle.

Yes, cordless is nice, but I find the Dyson’s handheld unit quite heavy, and having to keep pressing the button is a totally unergonomic hand position for me. I’m actually glad its battery only lasts about 15 minutes since my thumb gives out by then anyway.
And without the floor nozzle, nothing works (at least with my model). Meaning, if I just hold the tube somewhere without an attachment, it doesn’t even pick up cobwebs. My Miele, on the other hand, sucks in the cobwebs and even some paint from the wall 😀

Our V11 comes with a multi-surface nozzle that detects whether you’re cleaning hard floors or carpet.
Regarding the button pressing – yes, that’s annoying. We purchased a “adapter” for about €8 (euros) during a big sale. Now it can be switched on and off as usual.

As for suction power, I can’t judge due to lack of comparison. I can only say that the V11 picks up everything. In Eco mode, the device lasts about an hour and still has enough power; for cobwebs, we just switch briefly to Power mode. Cleaning the whole house, about 200 sqm (2,150 sq ft), works very well with it. We also have a spare battery, but we have never needed it so far.

We did a lot of research beforehand, and if you check the dedicated websites (yes, I didn’t know either—there are entire sites just about vacuum cleaners), you’ll see that there have been many improvements in model development, especially regarding suction power and battery life.

You’re not the only one... The price/performance ratio is all the better for that 😉

Can you or someone else recommend one? My cordless vacuum is annoying... (but it vacuums very well).
There is a thread about cordless vacuum cleaners: Dyson, AEG, and others.
I can't link it right now, but you should be able to find it easily.

Alright, I’ll look into it. Now, back to the main topic 😉
