Can you, or someone else, recommend one? My corded vacuum annoys me.. (but it cleans very well).

I have the Dreame V9 Pro and am quite satisfied.

We got the Dyson V11 a while ago. It came fully equipped at a good price.
What can I say, I’m totally impressed. Vacuuming used to be such a hassle. Grab the device, plug in the cord, then switch outlets when it wasn’t long enough. Then constantly running over the cord or getting caught on it. It was extremely annoying. It meant I hardly ever just quickly vacuumed something because the effort was so big.
Now it’s so convenient. Just pull it from the charging station, quickly clean the doormat or whatever, and you’re done.
Especially the handheld vacuum feature is so cool!
We spent quite some time researching different models beforehand and also have the not exactly cheap Bissell Crosswave here.
I absolutely can’t recommend it. It’s just standing around barely used. Terrible device.

Afterwards, I was very interested in the Miele. But some small details bothered me, so we went with the Dyson instead.
Alongside the robotic lawnmower, it’s one of the best investments we made.

I guess you mean “Dyson” too?

No, I mean Dreame 😉 (Text too short...)

The Dyson is definitely a real showpiece.
I also really enjoy vacuuming with it... but the $700 is really painful for a vacuum cleaner...
It fits into the same category as XXL tiles, lift-and-slide doors, and ceramic countertops.

But unfortunately, it’s cool 🙂

I’ve never heard anyone say that about a vacuum cleaner before. 😀 I find vacuum cleaners the least interesting thing in a house (even less than shutters).

I have a Dyson V8, but I still prefer to use my reliable old Miele bag vacuum cleaner with a – and this is very important – Elras multi-purpose nozzle.

Yes, cordless is convenient, but I find the Dyson’s handheld unit quite heavy, and constantly pressing the button creates a very awkward hand position for me. I’m actually glad it only has about 15 minutes of runtime, because by then my thumb feels like it’s going to fall off.
And without the floor nozzle, it doesn’t work (at least with my model). In other words, if I just hold the tube (without an attachment) somewhere, it won’t even pick up cobwebs. With my Miele, it sucks up the cobwebs and even some paint from the wall at the same time 😀
