ᐅ My KALLAX wobbles even though there is felt padding under the legs.

Hello everyone,
I recently assembled a Kallax shelf from IKEA, and despite attaching felt pads under the feet, it still wobbles slightly, especially when bumped. I checked the feet, and they all sit flat on the floor. The felt pads are evenly distributed, yet the wobbling remains. The floor is laminate and perfectly level.
Could it be that the structure itself has some play, or does anyone have tips on how to further reduce the wobbling? Maybe someone has an idea for a more stable solution without having to rebuild the shelf?
Thanks for your advice!

I would check the floor with a spirit level\Thanks, I already did that – the level showed no noticeable incline. The issue is actually more on the inside of the shelf, it feels like there is some play in the module’s construction.

You could replace the felt pads underneath with rubber or cork feet\Good suggestion, I will try that since the felt pads might be too slippery.
I have now fixed the shelf to the back panel with nails and placed rubber pads under the feet.
Since then, the wobbling has almost stopped, and it feels much more stable. I think the problem was mainly due to the back panel not being properly tensioned and the felt glides being too smooth on the laminate floor.
Thank you very much for your helpful tips, I am very happy with the result! 🙂
