In a few months, we'll be starting our project. Since my husband is a trained electrician, he will be doing all the electrical work himself.
Now we are looking for an affordable store or online shop where we can buy our materials.
Can you recommend anything? We've already checked out various building supply stores and browsed online a bit, but maybe you know of something!
Thank you very much for your feedback.

Hello,
I am an electrician master myself and would strongly advise against buying from a hardware store.
1. Since your husband is an electrician, can he not purchase through his company or something similar?
2. Make sure to get the materials from a German wholesaler, only they offer top-quality products.
For example, hardware stores like Obi, Praktiker, and others sell energy-saving lamps. I can say with certainty that currently no hardware store sells first-grade products, but rather takes second-grade items from brands like Osram, Philips, and others. Second-grade products have higher manufacturing tolerances. Most people are simply not aware of this.
The same applies largely to other products as well.
I also did not have very good experiences with websites. They are okay, but nothing beats a proper German wholesaler.
Regards
