Thank you for the quick reply
The new wall unit has a brushed oak finish. The colors might look a bit different in the photo, but
Exactly, the laminate no longer matches the color. That’s why we want a new one. However, it is difficult to find the right shade.
We have now decided to go for a dark laminate and paint the wall behind the unit white.
Best regards

For a dark laminate (walnut, for example), light sand and beige tones definitely work well as accents, and a red can also create an elegant look.
If you want a calming or stimulating effect, green shades are suitable.
Warm and harmonious atmospheres come from yellow and orange tones (apricot, mango).
To get a loft-style character, use light gray with accents in anthracite and dark red.
Now the choice is entirely yours!
