Hello everyone,
I hope I’ve posted this topic in the right category!
We are planning to build a house. When considering the construction method and materials, we came across this material, partly based on the experience of my in-laws (who built with Liapor). While researching which companies manufacture wall elements using this material, I keep coming across the same company.
Am I searching incorrectly, and is Liapor just a brand name?
Are there companies that produce wall elements made from expanded clay?
Does anyone have experience with the market for this material?
Thank you very much!

Hello,
For example, Kastell-Massivhaus uses Liapor.
Just search for expanded clay aggregate, and you will find more results.
Here are some names:
Varioself
h+l Bauherren, which also includes Lechner Massivhaus (where it is called Klimapor)
SMF
Arkona
Opti Haus
Ideal-heim-bau
Rosehaus
We also plan to use this type of construction. We have already received initial offers from several companies but still need to optimize them a bit. Apparently, this building method is somewhat more expensive than a conventional brick-and-mortar house built stone by stone. Or has anyone had different experiences?
Best regards
