Hello! I have now chosen an architect, and he has sent me the contract, which initially covers the first two service phases: project feasibility study and preliminary design. Should I have this reviewed by a lawyer already? Thanks.

Well, I think this is a question of knowledge and trust. It’s certainly not wrong, but in your case, I don’t believe it’s necessary. What is supposed to happen in the first two main phases? I believe that the basic evaluation and preliminary design phases do not involve risks that would justify corresponding legal fees...
If you decide to continue working with this architect and commission further phases, then that can certainly be done...
