ᐅ Knee Wall / Half Wall in a Townhouse?

Is something like this worth it? Normally, here the knee wall would start at floor level, but you could have it raised now for 4000 euros per 50 cm (20 inches). Would 50 cm (20 inches) or 1 m (40 inches) be enough? The developer said that with 50 cm (20 inches), they would slope the roof at 30 degrees. House type: townhouse/city villa, 9.5 m * 9 m (31 ft * 30 ft).

Do you have any experience with this? The money could also be invested in other things.

I'm starting to get curious about who is behind your "developer"...

Take a look at our construction diary. There you can see a townhouse with a knee wall. We fully finished the attic. The knee wall is just under one meter (3 feet). We also have a pyramid roof.

Very good summary! And a beautiful house!
Would you confidently recommend Niederberg? From what I have seen, only semi-detached houses are currently available in section 3. That can be quite interesting, but I have no experience regarding the sound insulation there. You often hear horror stories about that.

Niederberg is truly an amazing place to live.

In the third phase of construction, only a few plots from developers remain. At the start of sales, each “standard” plot had 2–3 interested buyers. Within 10 minutes, all developer-free plots were reserved (and then sold). The development plan has almost no restrictions, allowing for a wide range of possibilities.

There will be a fourth phase, with sales likely at the end of 2015. These plots are located further from the main road. However, the speed limit will be reduced from 70 to 50 km/h (45 to 30 mph), which is a positive change.
