Hello!

I am currently reworking all my kitchen planning again (not ideal when you have until 2017 ) and I am trying out inner drawers behind doors. Now, I’m relying on the planner to get everything right, but I’m wondering where the hinge would be placed in the current setup.

It’s a US 60x60x80.

He also marked the hinge at drawer height in black in the picture. That is a mistake in the planner. The Pax planner allowed drawers to be planned at the bottom for ages, where only wire baskets can be used, and people kept assembling their wardrobe only to find they couldn’t pull out the bottom drawer.

Oh man.

One more question: Would it be possible to fit the Utrusta wire basket over a 153° hinge? It can be placed over the 125° hinges.

I'm not entirely sure, I replaced the wire baskets myself. I think you could slip it over, but you probably wouldn't be able to close the door afterwards.

Ok, then I’ll ask Ikea. I might replace it someday, but only when I have more money.

... if the current kitchen design actually turns out to be the final one.

Maybe you’ll find some Maximera items in the bargain corner by then. I recently got one there for €8 instead of €29.

Nice, I will take a look. Unfortunately, in Berlin the bargain bin is emptied very quickly.

Did you not like the baskets because they don’t glide smoothly, or simply because they are baskets?
