I am planning to furnish my living room wall with Ikea Besta furniture and have a space with dark hardwood floors (typically something like walnut or dark oak). Since such floors are already quite dominant, I am wondering: which colors work best with dark hardwood floors when choosing BESTA cabinets or shelves?
It is important to me that the color choice not only looks harmonious but also keeps the room from feeling too dark or heavy. - White or off-white
- Light shades of gray
- Pastel colors like mint or light blue
These colors go well with dark wood floors and create a nice contrast without feeling too heavy.
