We recently purchased an apartment in a new development that is currently under construction. It is a larger project with about 40 units. Construction is starting now – the excavators are arriving these days and beginning to dig.
So far, everything is going well – but I have a request: Almost two-thirds of the apartments are already sold, so there must be many other buyers. I would like to get in touch with some of them and start forming a kind of community early on (for example, to address any concerns during the construction phase). I understand that the notary and seller cannot or will not share this information.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I could meet other buyers – other than standing at the construction site every weekend wearing a sign? 😉
Thanks in advance!
Christian

I’m not completely sure, but when we ordered the extracts from the land registry office via the building authority, there was also an extract from the neighborhood directory. It included a multi-family house listing with all the owners specified.
I’m not sure if you will receive the extract as well. We are building a single-family house.

Christian Why are you sure the seller won’t disclose this? Usually, when purchasing a property like this, a co-ownership agreement or something similar is also concluded. It is important to know the other owners in order to contact them. You can also obtain this information from the land registry or cadastre office, but there is a fee involved.
