Hello, 🙂
and I have another question right away...
...currently, we are planning a ceiling height of 2.63m (8 ft 8 in) above the finished floor level on the ground floor.
However, we are unsure about the height of the window and exterior door lintels.
We had planned window heights of 1.30m (51 inches) plus a 0.88m (35 inches) sill height. So the windows would end at 2.18m (7 ft 2 in). The doors would also be 2.18m (7 ft 2 in) high. This would leave a lintel height of 0.45m (18 inches) above all windows and doors with a 2.63m (8 ft 8 in) ceiling height.
Do you think that is too much?
What lintel dimensions do you have?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
Best regards
Tatze

I think the dimensions are perfectly fine.
It’s no different in older apartments.
My ceiling height is 2.53 meters (8 feet 4 inches), just about 10 centimeters (4 inches) less.
