ᐅ Has the heating pipe been bent too sharply?

Hello,

The underfloor heating is currently being installed in our new build, and I noticed this bend.

Underfloor heating: white pipes in loops on insulation foil with blue tape marking.

You can feel a narrowing when you press on it.

The architect and heating company say this is fine, but I don’t agree.

Edit: Some info about the heating pipe being used: Empur Klimapex PE-RT 17x2 millimeters (approx. 0.67x0.08 inches).

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

I wouldn't be too concerned about the first picture, but the second one is a bit odd; it kind of suggests that the pipe is rather thin, doesn't it? What kind of grid is that?
I just checked again on our side; no turns were possible with a radius under 25cm (10 inches).

Yes, it’s the same for us as well.

Room with installed underfloor heating: white pipes arranged in intertwined loops on insulation.

So, they will now cut out the section and attach the new piece with two couplings. The question is, how will the oxygen tightness be ensured at that point?

If this is done properly, it should be watertight...

I have some doubts about the people up there, but won’t there be pressure once everything is finished?

This is how it looks... make sure that the coupling is fitted with a protective sleeve.

Normally, you just press here...
