Hello, after about three quarters of a year, I finally received the offer for a maintenance contract for our heating system. It is an air-to-water heat pump. What is the general opinion in this forum regarding an annual maintenance contract, and what is the usual cost and what services should be included? The offer is now from the company that installed the heating system on behalf of the general contractor. Are there also options to inquire directly with the manufacturer?

Or is there some kind of "chamber" that represents individual contractors you can contact? I have had bad experiences when reaching out to individual companies and don’t want to have to act like a supplicant.
