GelbesTHello,
we are planning to build a garden shed in Brandenburg. According to the Brandenburg Building Code (BbgBO), we are allowed up to 75 m³ (2,650 ft³) of enclosed space for this. However, the development plan states that if the floor area exceeds 20 m² (215 sq ft), a pitched roof must be installed.
The original plan was to build a garden shed measuring 5 x 6 x 2.4 m (16.5 x 19.7 x 7.9 ft). However, I do not want a pitched roof.
Now I am wondering if it would be possible to build two separate garden sheds instead of one large one, each on its own foundation. Is this allowed? Of course, considering the site coverage ratio/planning permission requirements.
