daniels879 May 2016 12:35Hello!
Has anyone here built with flush-mounted (wall flush) or floor-to-ceiling interior doors?
We would like to have these on the ground floor as a highlight.
How do they hold up in everyday use? What did you pay for them?
Best regards,

On the ground floor, we have flush doors, meaning the frame and the door leaf are flush, and the doors are 2.32 m (7 ft 7 in) high.
The ceiling height on the ground floor is 2.70 m (8 ft 10 in) – it was already difficult enough to find a reasonably priced supplier for this special dimension.
Without installation, a white lacquered door with a magnetic lock and without handle fittings costs 530 euros.

daniels879 May 2016 16:12So far, I only have one quote for standard-height interior doors. They are priced at 750€ including installation.
I expect flush doors to be significantly more expensive due to the higher effort involved, as the frame needs to be plastered flush during the rough construction phase. However, I have not received a quote for those yet.
Two companies have already declined immediately, apparently due to lack of experience and interest.
