On our exterior walls, an installation layer was simply created within the insulation. Is the insulation on the inside, or how should I picture that? In general, concrete walls are not very suitable for typical chasing work, but there are flush-mounted boxes that can be cast in at the factory. However, this requires that all boxes and conduit routes are planned in advance.

Usually, the aim is to avoid drilling into the exterior walls. Surface-mounted boxes are used instead, or flush-mounted boxes are relocated into interior walls. If absolutely necessary, a TomTom solution can be applied.
