Today, I spent a long time looking for ways to modify my existing rooftop terrace so that I can easily clean the metal sheet underneath. That’s how I came across this forum. I hope I’m posting in the right section.
Currently, the wooden decking boards on the rooftop terrace are fixed with screws, so you can see the screws on the wood surface. Another option is to place the screws underneath the wood so they are not visible at all. However, I’m now looking for a solution that allows individual boards (not all of them) to be easily removed in order to clean the metal sheet below. Ideally, these boards should not be screwed in. Is there some kind of click system or clip fastener for decking that allows the boards to be secured but also easily detached? I have found a few variations, but unfortunately none that work without screws.
