Hello
My Method kitchen is now over a year old, and the following problem has appeared:
In a tall cabinet, there is a lower section with an 80cm (31.5 inches) hinged door equipped with two 153-degree Utrusta soft-close hinges.
When I try to close the door by a normal push, it now stops about 5cm (2 inches) short of closing fully.
I have already tried lubricating the hinges with WD40 oil, but it didn’t help. The door does not close completely on its own. When I remove the soft-close dampers, I notice the door moves very smoothly.
Could the problem be caused by the dampers?
I have also swapped the dampers with ones from another hinged door, but unfortunately, the result didn’t improve.
Does anyone have any advice?
Best regards

I have resolved the problem now!
When I removed the door, I noticed that the lower hinge was rubbing against the base plate of the cabinet.
I simply adjusted the hinge (or rather the mounting plate) slightly upwards using the adjustment screw. Now it no longer rubs, and the door closes completely with the dampers again.
