Maraum91Hello,
I would like to ask for your opinion as I am currently in the planning phase for the construction of our single-family house.
A single-family house with a basement and an attached basement garage.
The finished floor level in the house basement is 16cm (6 inches) higher than in the garage basement.
The meter cabinet and the photovoltaic inverters will be located in the garage basement.
The electrical distribution for the house will be in the house basement.
How would you connect the house electrical distribution to the meter cabinet and bring the photovoltaic strings from the house to the garage basement?
Options:
- Install additional conduits in both basements and create a connection through the ground using empty conduits (ducts).
- Embed conduits in the garage basement slab running to the house basement, although this would compromise the (thermal) separation between the two slabs.
- Embed a conduit in the garage slab up to the exterior wall of the house, then jump up to the finished floor level to continue the conduit on the rough floor inside the house.
Any other ideas are welcome 🙂
