Hello everyone, which saw is best for cutting parquet lengthwise? Usually, the long edges are covered by baseboards, but I have a floor convector along which I need to lay the parquet lengthwise. A cut with a jigsaw doesn’t look good in this case. The problem is that the parquet is 220cm (87 inches) long. What kind of tool would you recommend? I was considering a circular saw or a table saw, preferably with a long guide rail (if such a size even exists).
Do you have any other tips? Thanks

I will definitely check out the hardware store, but there is hardly any advice available there at the moment, so I wanted to gather some information beforehand.
Using a joinery workshop is certainly another option—we have one in town. However, I need to make several lengthwise cuts (not all of them need to look good since they will be hidden by the base), so I will get the appropriate tools myself. I find the jigsaw quite suitable for the short side, but it’s not ideal for lengthwise cuts, although it can be done that way.
