bortelHello everyone,
My dad (a retired electrician) and I are currently working on the electrical planning for our new build.
We will be installing a total of 12 Venetian blinds with external venetian blinds (raffstores).
Since my dad still has many flush-mounted modules from Merten in his inventory, I would like to use a switch series from Merten.
For controlling the blinds, we are thinking of a simple setup, without KNX, EIB, or similar systems. The wiring should be done with 5x1.5mm² or 5x2.5mm² cables.
Will this work?
How have you set up your blind controls when using conventional electrical wiring?
According to my dad, an electronic flush-mounted blind control module is suitable if you want to install the “control box” right next to the window. If I don’t want to do any programming, a simple rocker switch with arrows and a matching frame should be enough, right?
In the bathroom, where I would like to have a remote control switch, we would additionally need a remote switch plus, correct?
Also, we still need a wind guard, wind sensor interface, and sun-dusk sensor, right?
I hope you can offer some support.
Thanks a lot!
