ᐅ Completely exhausted – but happy?

Hi,
I need to ask about something different now:
Since we started building our house, I practically can’t sleep in anymore. I feel fine otherwise, sleep 8 hours – completely normal – but I’m extremely tired. I’m not stressed or worried at all. I’m actually very happy that we’re building and already excited about the house. But during the day, I almost fall asleep standing up. Is that normal? Does this happen to others as well? Is it normal to feel so drained while building a house?

I hope this will go away after moving in, and even though I’ll be completely exhausted, I’ll still be happy. What do you think?

Have a thorough check-up... it could also be something organic, like diabetes for example. Many illnesses are postponed because people feel they don’t have time to be sick.

Hello,
thank you all for the tips, but I don’t think I’m ill. I just had a blood test – everything is fine.
It’s probably stress after all, which I’m not even fully aware of myself…

Then better go to sleep than write posts here at half past midnight.

I felt the same way in the beginning... with the difference that I kept waking up every few hours but slept longer overall. Eventually, once the house construction was almost finished and I could let go of some of my worries, I started feeling better again! So just be patient and wait.

Hi,

I think only a doctor can help with that. Maybe there is a deficiency of something, or the sleep is disturbed and therefore not properly restful.
