Hi,
I need to ask about something different now:
Since we started building our house, I practically can’t sleep in anymore. I feel fine otherwise, sleep 8 hours – completely normal – but I’m extremely tired. I’m not stressed or worried at all. I’m actually very happy that we’re building and already excited about the house. But during the day, I almost fall asleep standing up. Is that normal? Does this happen to others as well? Is it normal to feel so drained while building a house?

I hope this will go away after moving in, and even though I’ll be completely exhausted, I’ll still be happy. What do you think?

Hello everyone,

My name is Petra and I am new here. I’m happy to be part of this community.

I can never fall asleep because my mind keeps racing with thoughts. When we bought a small house three years ago and were busy renovating it, I was completely exhausted but still couldn’t sleep. I was overjoyed to have my own home and not have to pay my landlord 750 EUR (about 800 USD) every month.

Hello. Are you sure you're not at all excited? Building a house is really an exciting experience. Even if you might not realize it yourself, you are probably feeling a bit unsettled inside, and that can be tiring for your body. Don’t worry too much; it will surely pass soon.
