our first ceiling slab has now been poured, and during today’s inspection I noticed that some ceiling outlets are visibly not protruding vertically from the slab. The outlet will be shortened later on. Is this a serious defect, or can the future valve still be installed without issues?
Thank you very much

some ceiling outlets clearly do not protrude vertically from the ceiling It shouldn't matter much for ceiling outlets. However, if floor outlets are present and are also installed crookedly, the subsequent floor buildup could cause the floor outlets to end up at varying distances from the wall. This can look untidy if there are multiple outlets in a room.
If the builders install such elements unevenly, it might be a good idea to pay closer attention overall. Also, measure door and window openings—they should be rectangles, not parallelograms or trapezoids.

The precast concrete slabs are uneven on top, so the valves often end up slightly tilted – and the long pipe makes this look even worse.
But as mentioned, it doesn’t really matter...
Similarly, door and window openings can even be (slightly) uneven – you usually can’t see anything afterward. Although they shouldn’t be.
