ᐅ Bean Bags & More: Exploring Alternative Furniture Options

Hello!

My husband and I are currently looking for some alternative furniture that isn’t commonly found in everyone’s living room. It doesn’t have to be a major design concept, but some clever ideas or something a bit different would be great. We have a corner available that we want to make look a little more unique. I’m currently leaning towards a nice bean bag chair. But on its own, it looks a bit too lonely there. Maybe someone here has a few ideas? We especially need some kind of seating.

We’re open to any suggestions—don’t hesitate, even if the idea sounds a bit unusual. That’s exactly what we’re after. Just nothing like the usual IKEA-style furniture. 🙂

Bean Bag

Hello minnimaus. I had the same problem. I found a cool bean bag! It’s a somewhat special bean bag, also suitable for outdoor use. It looks a bit different from standard bean bags, really cool, I bought it myself.

I actually think the idea of a bean bag is pretty good. How big is the corner? I once saw a really stylish armchair, but it was quite large. Otherwise, you could browse through websites like “schöner wohnen” or similar. Maybe you can get some inspiration there.

Bean bags are great!! A good friend of mine has a living room furnished entirely with bean bags of all kinds, and it truly is a paradise for comfortable seating (because you can sit or lie however you like and be comfortable at the same time) and relaxation.

I really like bean bags as well; they mold so nicely and you can really lounge around in them 🙂 There are also some great XL bean bags 🙂
