Hello everyone,
I would like to ask the experts for an assessment of our offer (A1, A2, A3) – as far as it is technically and financially feasible.
We want to fully cover the south side of the roof (total 6.4 kWp (kilowatt peak)) without storage. Since we will also be getting a heat pump (SG ready), we want to supply it with photovoltaic power.
The system can be installed directly at the beginning of September, right after the roofer’s work is finished. It will be handled and carried out by an acquaintance who is always available to support us with advice and assistance. We are newcomers in this field ourselves.
With a total net cost of 10,000 €, I calculate an average of €1,562.50 per kWp.
Title 02 in the summary refers to the Home Manager, not to the energy storage (which I had removed from the offer, as it was originally included).
I look forward to your feedback.
Best regards,
Christian

Are they particularly expensive?

And let me tell you as someone with just under 30 kWp: EVERY photovoltaic system is too small!
Now I might have a silly question... sorry in advance.
It used to be said that a maximum of 10-11 kWp is allowed, no more because of... I don’t know... is that no longer true?
Thanks in advance! 🙂

It was always said or used to be that the maximum was 10 to 11 and no more because of... I don’t know... is that no longer true? The statement was to not go just over 10 (due to the Renewable Energy Act surcharge, I think), but over 13 was acceptable again...

Looks like the lobby did a good job 🤨
There were always only "small hurdles" to consider. Never any real obstacles to installing a photovoltaic system larger than 9.9 kWp. These small hurdles were at 9.9 kWp and 29.9 kWp. In the past, it wasn’t really worth installing systems between 10 and about 12 kWp. Today, if affordable: fill the roof, happily 35 kWp with a 30 kW inverter. North/South orientation and similar setups with a roof pitch up to 35° are almost always worthwhile. The "reasons" were always just tax-related, purely financial aspects.
Currently, up to 30 kWp without renewable energy law regulations (e.g., Renewable Energy Act / feed-in tariff rules), and if you go over... who cares. You just pay the renewable energy law fee but still enjoy every kilowatt hour generated and used yourself.
P.S. My small 6.5 kWp system usually covers 80-90% of my electricity needs in summer (surplus) to drive about 1000 km (620 miles) with my electric car. Still, I would have liked to have more because in winter there is rarely any surplus 😕
