Hello,
I am planning a prefabricated house but need to save money, for example on the terrace.
Is it possible to add a terrace roof later on? It could of course be a more affordable option.
Can such a roof be attached to the exterior wall of a prefabricated house?
Thank you
Tom

Even with a prefab house (timber frame house?), retrofitting should hardly be a structural issue. Provided we are not talking about snow load zone 3 and oversized dimensions.
I had already mentioned in at least one of your other threads that by providing more details about your project, you would receive better advice here—also regarding potential savings. For example, smart planning can help avoid unnecessary extra square meters, freeing up budget for the terrace or similar features.
