ᐅ Wall heating systems do not reach the desired temperature

Hello everyone,

I need your help. We have the problem that we can’t get our bathroom properly warm. Due to the small underfloor heating area in the bathroom, three additional wall heaters were installed. Still, we can’t get the temperature above about 21 degrees Celsius (70°F). The calculation was based on 24 degrees Celsius (75°F). I have already switched off the EER and set the flow rate to the maximum (3 liters per minute). All other rooms easily reach their target temperature and are sometimes already at the minimum flow rate.

Do you have any other ideas on what could be done?

Thank you very much and best regards

Maybe the through-cylinder is swapped?

What exactly is the through-cylinder? 🤨

Yes, increasing the supply temperature is an option, but I would prefer not to raise it.
It is already much too high!

Do you think so? I thought a heating curve of 0.35 wouldn’t be unusual in a new build designed to meet energy-saving regulations.

It shouldn’t be any steeper, but with only the energy-saving regulations, there is little room to go lower.

Not only I think so. As mentioned before, with your settings you’d already have a flow temperature of 35°C (95°F) at 0°C (32°F) outdoor temperature. That would make the bathroom too hot. The question remains why there’s no heat reaching the bathroom.

(Some “experts” would set the curve as low as 0.05 if possible.)

Between 0.15 and a maximum of 0.20 is appropriate. Anything else is out of the question for a new build with a room target temperature of 22/23°C (72/73°F).
