Hello everyone,
I would like to hear your opinion on a quote I received.
- Photovoltaic system with 10 kWp
- Storage battery with 6.5 kW
- Including installation
About 25,000 euros
That seems a bit high to me... so I’m asking here in the forum.
Thanks and best regards

I included the K2 mounting system. About 1500€ (approximately $1600).
The installation costs him nearly 5000€ (around $5400). Maybe he prefers external materials because then the warranty isn’t his responsibility? For me, it was done by two people in about 1.5 days. With paperwork included, at best 3.5 person-days.
And yet some say you can’t make money in skilled trades…

And yet some say you can’t make money in skilled trades… I’m about to start my own business as a solar installer. 😎
Although climbing on roofs is not really my thing.
The profit margins there seem to be incredibly high.
But I get the impression that those who are actually working on the roofs get only a small part of that money.

I'm about to start working as a self-employed solar installer. 😎 Let me know when you get started. Hopefully, there will be a forum discount then.
I just received my first rough quote from Clensolar (after all the recommendations here). I'm a bit disappointed.
Yes, you mentioned they are not the cheapest, but at just over 1600 EUR/kWp (net) for 10.65 kWp, I can't really be satisfied, can I?
I mean, my really bad offer from Solarmeisterei was for just under 10 kWp but included a battery storage and very expensive LG modules — 27,000 EUR net versus now 17,000 EUR net without storage.
Maybe it's because Berlin is too far away after all?
I think I'll put the photovoltaic project on hold for now.

Possibly increased demand due to recommendations here in the forum. Sooner or later, even the best will adjust their prices if the offer is not scalable...
