During my search for a "suitable" wood stove, a few options caught my attention. They are all small, as a larger stove would not be practical.
Brunner, Iron Dog 1
Jotul, F 602
Nordpeis, Orion
and Nordpeis, ME Wall
For the intended use, I like the "Iron Dog One" the most. However, I can’t find any reports worldwide from someone who actually owns one.
The chances might not be good, but I’ll give it a try:
Does anyone know it?

I believe the question of whether fireclay or cast iron is "better" for the combustion chamber (and how much more efficient the firing or heat storage is) can be largely neglected in real-world operation—at least regarding effective combustion. It’s similar to soundproofing: to be truly effective, you need mass. A lot of mass. This is only achievable with a masonry heater. Those still release heat even 12 hours later. Especially with the desired "small" model, which will also be compact in size, this factor becomes negligible if the firing is done properly.
In the meantime, I found a detail about the Brunner stove I want that spoils the fun for me. 🙄
It doesn’t have a self-closing door, and on one chimney, only two stoves are allowed if both have self-closing doors.
Since I want to follow these regulations, that’s not going to work with my dog.
There is already one stove attached to our chimney—with a self-closing door—but it no longer closes by itself because the self-closing spring has broken for the second time. 🤨

It doesn't have a self-closing door, and only if one fireplace has a self-closing door are you allowed to have two stoves connected to the same chimney. Many "budget" fireplaces do not have self-closing doors, or if they do, there is usually an additional cost. You should ask Brunner; an upgrade is generally not a big issue.M
