The electrician offered the following wallbox for the new build. It will only be installed after registration due to the subsidy.

What do you think? Is it a good option? The net price is €1,590. Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with this area. However, I definitely wanted to have it since we are also installing a 13 kWp (kilowatt-peak) photovoltaic system and plan to get an electric car.

Price for what exactly? Just the wallbox, or does that include additional wiring and circuit protection? Or are groundworks included as well?

Here is the full invoice. The price seems to be only for the device itself.

Then the price is fair. However, I would never mount this box on the wall. It is simply waaaaaay too expensive just for supplying power from the grid to the car.
If you want to install an Amtron, go for the Compact model at one-third of the price.

And what disadvantages does the Compact have compared to this one?

I just saw that the Basic version is available for €1,269 gross at a specialized dealer on eBay. Maybe he can order it. That’s over €600 less :-)

No idea. But both charge your car.

Then you looked incorrectly, the 11kW (three-phase) model isn’t that expensive:

An 11kW wallbox does not have to cost over €1,000. The current ADAC test—the prices shown are the manufacturer’s suggested retail prices (MSRP), not street prices:
