Hello everyone,
I’m new to the forum and would like to share my experience with building a house myself.
For me, building a house on your own is not rocket science. I have been moving around construction sites in all trades for 36 years.
Now it’s time for me to pass on my knowledge to you.
My last house was built in 2018 / 2019 and it is now our holiday home in beautiful MV.
So if you are planning to build your own house as well, I’d be happy to answer your questions.
I’ll gladly post 2-3 pictures! (actually there are quite a few more)
Foundation slab with black waterproofing on a construction site, surrounded by building materials

Building a wall from white blocks with a window opening, wooden supports, fence and tree on the right.

Construction site with aerated concrete blocks, wooden stud frame and unfinished walls

Shell of a house: wood frame construction above concrete wall, scaffolding and blue sky.

Shell built from white concrete blocks with wooden roof structure, surrounded by trees and blue sky.

Shell: visible roof beams, insulation rolls on wooden structure, unplastered walls, large windows.

Exterior facade of a house under renovation; doors and windows covered with blue plastic.

White single-family house with solar panels, large tree in front, garden with fence and building timber.

Two-story house with light facade, balconies and rolling shutters; paved courtyard.

Designed and built by myself.

Best regards to EVERYONE

This clearly illustrates the difference between earnings and value creation.

Could one of the moderators please correct the title? It’s painful to look at...
At the second favorite video rental store of my youth, the discount stamps were called "Video Vilm Collection Point," which all customers found a charming unique feature.

That’s probably a spelling issue, completion... MANY THANKS
My leadership experience says dyslexic employees are goal-oriented, meaning the spelling "difficulty" is actually more an indicator of the positive trait of not getting distracted by minor details. For people with dyscalculia, you just have to find other roles than accounting. By the way, half of all cardinals mispronounce "diocese." And diarrhea is not helped by whether you can spell it correctly or not.

Thanks to the mods!
This kind of thing almost physically pains me – hence my question. And since the original poster was no longer able to fix it themselves, I’m asking the mods to help.

By the way, I’m not trying to criticize people with dyslexia, but errors like this in the title are just too extreme for me.
Nowadays, people with dyslexia have various forms of support (if a word is underlined in red, even I, who don’t have dyslexia, double-check it), but those with dyscalculia are much less supported. It’s also less recognized and assisted in schools. During my studies as a prospective graduate mathematician, I often earned money by tutoring – and I had a case that was really pitiful. The diagnosis didn’t bring him any supporting measures at school, even though, for example, he was brilliant in Latin. But math – no way.

Sorry, but if something like this already physically hurts you, then I don’t want to know what happens when it really hurts.

It used to be the same for me, but the spelling reform helped a lot. It really eased the tension because since then, the old mistakes have often become the new correct forms and vice versa – so it's regularly not allowed to continue using the old correct forms. For example, "Schifffahrt" (shipping) is now spelled with three "f"s, as it was in the past only for the schoolboy Pfeiffer. Cheers to that – for me, please, without ketchup!

Ouch!
