Hello everyone,
What options do you see for a stormproof patio roof that can be partially opened in winter (for example, sliding)? The roof should provide shade in summer (so a glass roof is not necessary) and let through as much light as possible in winter.
Is there a manufacturer for such roofs?

Why not have a glass roof with a retractable awning? Our terrace faces south. Therefore, the awning would probably be extended almost all summer. So I’m wondering if there might be alternative options. One more question: How often is a glass roof usually cleaned?

Our sunshade sail stays outside all summer long, regardless of storm or rain. So, it’s not a problem.
It’s not an overly expensive solution and looks stylish. May I ask which sail you are using? For example, there are significant price differences...
