Hello everyone,
What options do you see for a stormproof patio roof that can be partially opened in winter (for example, sliding)? The roof should provide shade in summer (so a glass roof is not necessary) and let through as much light as possible in winter.
Is there a manufacturer for such roofs?

We have the glass roof cleaned twice a year. I’m currently considering whether we should increase that to three times next year.
The awning underneath is, of course, almost always extended at these temperatures – although not in spring or so, as it’s usually sufficient to adjust the slats of the external venetian blinds accordingly.

With the louvered roof, you have the advantage that it can be cleaned from underneath at any time. A glass roof can only be cleaned on the top side from above. We also have our louvered roof professionally cleaned twice a year, which helps maintain it for a long time. Combined with the infrared heater, it has been the best investment of the last few months.
