besides electricity and heating costs, which I have a rough idea of, what other monthly expenses can a homeowner expect?
- Water, approximately how much?
- Waste collection, approximately how much?
- Mandatory insurance?
- What else is there? Any kind of taxes?
Approximate figures are fine; a difference of around 50 euros won’t matter.
Thanks in advance

Water, heating, and electricity are initially highly dependent on your individual situation.
Otherwise, a few things that come to mind immediately are:
- Chimney inspection
- Heating system maintenance
- Waste disposal (you can inquire about this at your local municipality)
- Household contents insurance
- Building insurance
- Property tax...
But don’t worry.
I’ve asked myself the same question.

...., they should not change that much anyway I would strongly reconsider that! Best regards

jolly13jumper31 Jan 2012 14:15Meaning? I’m calculating about 100 euros for electricity prepayment and 100 euros for heating prepayment. 50 euros for water and sewage. That would be 250 euros per month. Can I manage with 150 for the rest? Waste disposal, chimney sweep, taxes, insurance?
