Hello dear home builders,

Do you have a water softening system? Is it really worth it, or is it just a money-making scheme?
Our architect recommended one to us, but the question is whether the 3000 euros really justify it.
I think that’s a lot of money.

We have also considered those, although I’m not sure if I need one at 14.7 hardness level?!?

Yes, we have hardness between 15 and 20, and you can definitely notice it in the shower and on the aerators.

We have now received an offer for the Judo SOFTWELLS S for our construction project.

It is a single-chamber system. We have a 390-liter (103-gallon) hot water storage tank because we have high-demand showers.

Does anyone know this device?

Since January 2018, an Aqmos BM-32 has been installed. Set from 20°dH to 6°dH. Runs smoothly and very satisfactorily.

Please share your water consumption data and raw water hardness. Then I can demonstrate, based on the datasheet, how consumption and costs can be calculated.

Wasn’t it the case that you have rain showers requiring high inlet pressure/high flow rate? In that case, a single-column Judo system might not be the ideal solution.

The hardness is 18 dH.

I do not have any additional data beyond what has been mentioned.

You don’t know your water consumption per day/month/year?

Offered by whom? The plumber from the local area who is already working on the site and can also service the unit in the future if needed?
