Hello everyone!

We need to order our sanitary fixtures and have just heard from acquaintances that they are not satisfied at all with their rimless toilet.
What kind of toilets have you installed – with or without a rim – and are you happy with them?

Rimless - Keramag Icon
Does exactly what it’s supposed to
No splashing or anything like that, which is probably what you’re concerned about. I find it almost perfect for keeping the toilet clean, as there are no rims where dirt or grime could accumulate.

We are also planning a rimless toilet, as these are now the only ones available.

Why are they not satisfied with it? I would be interested to know as well.

We included the Icon in our order as well, but doubts came up because some acquaintances really dislike rimless toilets. Apparently, they tend to splash water all over the seat.
It's nice to hear that you are happy with the Icon.

We have installed the Keramag 4U, the Icon, and a Villeroy & Boch, and are very satisfied with all of them. None of them splash, and they are simply easier to keep clean. The only thing that really frustrated the installers with the Keramag was the mounting (screwing), which is quite tricky. BUT that wouldn’t be your problem!

With the Villeroy & Boch, it’s easier because the sides (outer part) aren’t completely closed off, so the threaded rods for hanging are accessible there.

Regarding splashing, this could also be related to the water pressure or the flush tank combined with the toilet. There are sometimes combinations that don’t work well together, which usually results in not everything being properly flushed.

Which model? We also chose Villeroy & Boch.
