Hello everyone!
We need to order our sanitary fixtures and have just heard from acquaintances that they are not satisfied at all with their rimless toilet.
What kind of toilets have you installed – with or without a rim – and are you happy with them?

At least my partner recently complained quite a bit about the yellowish discoloration on the underside of the toilet seat. I assume that nothing was splashed up from the porcelain during use, but that it’s caused by the “spitting” of the bowl – which would also mean there are (albeit minimal) urine residues on the floor. We have the same issue with our current toilet, which has a rim flush design, so I suspect it does splash during use in our case at least.
Of course, this could be easily tested if there’s enough interest: urinate, check if splashed (wet), flush, then check again.

There was also a thread about this here before.

I would check again with the plumber about the flush tank...
@ypg: it always seems to spray "under the lid," so the issue is probably related to the flush pressure.
Thanks for your input – I think we’ll stick with the Icon Oh, I see. So it’s not the flush itself, but when "urinating." We experience the same here.
