Hello,
Our list of defects was long, but everything was completed to our satisfaction. However, when our roof tiles for the patio roof were delivered, we noticed that the tiles installed on the house roof were not the ones we had contractually ordered. The issue is the difference between granite and black. We simply did not question this point at the time. Only when comparing the tiles did the difference become clearly visible.
What options do we have? The builder was a well-known prefabricated house supplier.
The house was accepted several months ago.

In my opinion, given the already confirmed acceptance and the disproportionate effort involved, you wouldn’t have a chance with that approach.
You will simply need to explain the problem to your construction company and ask them to deliver enough bricks matching those on your roof for the garage.
You can list the wrong ones on local classified ads like eBay Kleinanzeigen...
Good luck

Ah, okay, reading it twice makes it clearer!
So, you have now received roof tiles for the garage in the originally planned deep black color, right? But you have noticed that on the roof, only the granite-colored tiles that were planned intermittently have actually been installed, correct?
I think once the inspection is done, it will be difficult to change them. Any replacement of the roof tiles would likely depend on the builder’s goodwill (did they also supply the current roof tiles?). Alternatively, you could try to exchange them yourself. However, I would recommend starting with a conversation, as legally it might be challenging after the inspection.

SilentGalaxy26 Mar 2018 20:27Thank you for the responses. At the same time as starting this thread, I contacted my builder. We have now agreed on a settlement of 4000 euros. I think that is a satisfactory outcome.
4000€ for the wrong color, which you only noticed because you reordered roof tiles, is a great outcome without legal disputes and so on. You probably worked with a good construction company if they want to "fulfill" their contract without much pressure. Otherwise, the free replacement delivery of the correct tiles for the garage roof would also have been a fair option.
