We want to try again. A small house in a manageable town (doctor, supermarket, train station) – no longer in a big city.

It should be a passive house bungalow.

The exterior walls will be 3m (10 ft) high. Initially, I tried to maintain a 3m (10 ft) grid (internal dimensions). For the bathrooms, I halved this and for the bedrooms multiplied by 1.5. The wall heights at the atrium are 2.5m (8 ft 2 inches). The slab foundation is very well insulated and designed as a thermal mass (concrete core activation).

I think I get it now.

Regarding your plan, it would be helpful to see how the house is positioned on the plot. Also, labeling the rooms would make it easier to understand.

With a room depth of 150cm (59 inches), there won’t be much choice but to line up the bathroom fixtures more or less in a row.

Three toilets for the whole house is quite a lot.

Are the two people a couple or just friends living together? Because of the two bathrooms, especially since each has its own toilet.

The distance between the sofa and TV stands out to me and seems too large.

I’m curious about the roof and the chimney shaft.

Is the utility room supposed to be in the middle? … hmm.

EDIT:
The bed position in the western (lower on the plan) bedroom looks like the access might be too tight.

Regarding the draft: a grid and thus a living room width of 3 meters (10 feet) is far too narrow, especially when two sofas arranged in an L-shape and circulation space are incorporated within these 3 meters (10 feet).
It barely has the spaciousness of a tiny house — furnished with custom-made furniture, it is definitely too tight and partly feels cramped.
