Hello, I am still looking for suggestions to improve our design.

We are not satisfied with the current arrangement of the windows, and the stove will also be removed.

Ground floor plan of a house with kitchen, dining, living room, utility room, hallway, WC, and garage.

First floor plan with hallway, 4 rooms, bathroom, and additional room; total area 68.92 m² (742 sq ft)

@Basel, have you read https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/grundrissplanung-unbedingt-vor-Beitrag-Erstellung-lesen.11714/?

Which area are you looking for suggestions on? What don’t you like? A three-line input is a bit odd.

Why did the design turn out the way it is now?
It’s a mix of many examples from various magazines, site visits, etc.

What exactly in this design comes from magazines?
Which sightline did you adopt from the great examples in the media?
What are you particularly proud of?

For two people, I could think of something better for the upper floor.

I like the bathroom. I find the bed wall too short.
Since you are planning for just two people, more space could be allocated here.

Overall, I find it coherent – but the kitchen is a bit dull.
You should decide whether it is going to be closed or open. Nobody here knows your line of thought.

My mistake, we are still not quite sure whether to have an open or closed kitchen.

For this kind of "problem," I think a nice large—possibly double-leaf—(glass) sliding door works really well. You can close off the kitchen, but when the sliding door is open, it almost feels like a real open kitchen.

Where can you build for only 300,000 euros?

What would really bother me is the entrance area.

With a double-leaf glass sliding door, probably nowhere - unless it remains almost the only highlight.
