Hello,

we are currently selecting tiles for the kitchen. We like porcelain stoneware tiles with inlaid patterns. Are these tiles suitable for a kitchen where a knife or fork might occasionally be dropped? Do they chip immediately?
Do the patterns wear off over time?

For example, the Vives Ladakhi Musgo.

Does anyone have experience installing tiles like these?

Without googling this tile: every tile has information about abrasion classes and room recommendations.
What does it say there?

Abrasion resistance class 3 ... would not be ideal for the kitchen, right? Even if the floor is rarely walked on with outdoor shoes there?

We tested our chosen tile. You usually get a sample, place it down, grab a knife, drop something on it, and see what happens. Our tile passed the test.
