Hello everyone,

We are currently in the construction phase of our single-family home. We are actively gathering ideas to make daily life in the new house easier.

So far, we have:
- A laundry chute from the bathroom on the upper floor to the washing machine in the basement
- A platform for the washing machine to allow easy loading and unloading
- Pantry shelving with rotating trays

We have also considered:
- Building a small utility room behind the living room cabinet (sideboard) to house all the TV equipment (satellite box, DVD player, receiver, hard drive, etc.) out of sight

To illustrate, I’m attaching three photos.

Maybe some of you have a nice REALISTIC idea that could be implemented.

Thank you in advance for your ideas!

Best regards,
Slintrebla

The fireplace looks really, really stylish!

And that’s exactly how we plan to do our fireplace as well. For the coziness and just to enjoy a glass of wine or a beer in the evening in front of the crackling fire.

Jochen’s wood stove is simply amazing! Super stylish!

By the way: The fire creates an incredibly cozy mood and atmosphere, and we personally find the warmth very comfortable.

So: Wood stoves again and again. It was the right decision.

Personal atmosphere cannot be measured or rationally compared in a savings or insulation model. This makes it intangible for some people.

Absolutely my style, the fireplace, but I would also like to take a closer look at the tiles.

Who makes the fireplace? Very nice.

Thanks! The fireplace is from Skantherm – model Balance. The firebox has two storage units, each 60cm (24 inches), made of steel.

Thanks! The tile is from RAK Ceramics – model Cementica in dark anthracite, 60cm x 60cm (24 inches x 24 inches). Very resistant to dust and dirt, and still easy to clean. You are welcome to visit, but I think the trip might be quite far.

Amazing. This beautiful and elegant designer piece is available at a price that pleasantly surprised me.

Of course, it is in the price range of a good wood stove, but now, thanks to the design, it is not artificially overpriced.

After seeing the photo, I would have expected this wood stove to be noticeably more expensive.

Great unit.
