Regarding the price: for a 134 sqm (1443 sq ft) house alone (shell construction, finished exterior, interior only with electrical, plumbing, and sanitary lines/connections) including shutters, dormer, staircase between ground and upper floor, and controlled residential ventilation, we paid about 125,000 euros. The foundation slab was not needed due to the basement. Also, a prefabricated house (timber frame) is certainly not cheaper than a Ytong (aerated concrete) house. And you still have to do the masonry work yourself...
