Steffi33Dear forum members,
We received the wrong kitchen appliance. The desired model is better and more expensive (and was paid for accordingly!). Instead, we got something much worse. We have filed a complaint. The retailer replied once to our email but has not responded to any further messages since. This has been going on for two months now. How should we proceed? Looking forward to good advice.
Best regards, Steffi33

Complaints should not be made by email.
Send a written objection by registered mail, specifying a reasonable deadline for response.
Most likely, the email was overlooked. I also delete emails every day. Proper record-keeping does not start on the computer, but with organizing documents.
Regards, Yvonne

Maybe… nevertheless, email communication is common nowadays. I don’t think we have simply been forgotten. We also spoke on the phone – the dealer knows us and our issue very well. We have set multiple (reasonable) deadlines. I’m now quite frustrated by the audacity with which the dealer is ignoring us. I’m willing to send another letter if necessary… Still, the question remains: what legal steps should we take next? Best regards, Steffi.
